About the role:
As the Shop Manager at World of Volvo, you’ll lead the daily store operations, including staff planning, inventory management, and visual merchandising. In close collaboration with the Guest Relations and Marketing teams, you'll ensure a premium customer experience and an on-brand store environment.
Your responsibilities include training and developing staff, managing budgets and expenses, reporting weekly sell-through data, and building strong relationships with suppliers and Volvo partners. You’ll also oversee store routines, security, and merchandising strategies to drive performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily operation managing and planning staff in collaboration with Guest Relation manager.
- Developing and training staff.
- Managing the inventory levels and reporting on sell through on a weekly basis.
- Developing an attractive inventory, in collaboration with key suppliers and partners within the Volvo companies reporting on sell through on a weekly basis.
- Managing budgets and controlling expenses.
- Oversee store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Analyzing and present key data.
- Merchandising key products to push at store front - in collaboration with the Marketing Team.
- Maintaining a clean, organized and visually appealing store environment, deliver excellent customer service.
- Monitoring store security measures.
- Secure that the World of Volvo Shop is presented in a premium and on-brand manner.
Who are we looking for:
We are looking for a service-minded professional with a strong focus on delivering a premium guest experience. You have a genuine passion for hospitality and know how to make every visitor feel welcome and valued.
Your background includes experience in store operations and personal sales, giving you the ability to manage daily activities efficiently while supporting revenue goals. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
In this role, strong communication skills are essential – both within the team and in interactions with guests, suppliers, and stakeholders. Your negotiation abilities and experience with purchasing and agreements will be key in building and maintaining successful partnerships.
Requirements:
- Education in Retail Management, Retail Marketing, Retail Staff Management.
- Minimum 5-7 years of store/retail management of similar products and store environment.
- Fluent language skills in both Swedish and English, including speaking and writing, as the work will be conducted in these languages.

- This is a full time position located in Gothenburg.
